As Department Head, I focus my energies on cultivating opportunities for faculty development and for enriching students' educational experiences. Academically, I apply my background in merchandising and textile science to the area of product development.

Recent Projects

• Coordinating "UT Product Development Project," in which Retail and Consumer Sciences students develop products for their line of merchandise - UT Vols. Products include Tennessee Tartan, UT Paisley, and Smokey's Paw Prints
• Working with the department's Advisory Board on its initiatives
