I have conducted various types of research projects (nationally and internationally) in the areas of tourism, hospitality, and service management including economic impact assessments, demand forecasts, tourism marketing, tourist behavior analyses, geographic information system (GIS) applications, and community & hospitality analyses.
I enjoy working on interdisciplinary teams, and have the capacity to apply disciplinary knowledge to the solution of tourism and hospitality problems. My teaching interests include tourism economics, tourism analysis, quantitative analysis, marketing for hospitality and tourism, tourism management, strategic management, research methods, spatial analysis applications, and tourism planning. I serve as Associate Editor, Guest Editor, Editorial Board Member, Paper Reviewer, and Track Chair for various refereed journals and national/international associations.
